A buddy of mine, who at the time was a product manager for tools at his company, sent me this set to play with and I couldn't be more impressed. This tips have been laser etched and grab the drive recess in the screw head like a magnet. This set has a couple flat blades (slotted) a couple Philips (though an educated eye will note that the close-up is of a Pozi drive) and a couple square drivers. It's really a great set, but what I thought was most weird was the presence of a red handled driver. I snapped a photo of the drivers in the package and sent the pic to my friend in an email with the simple question: "What's with the Red handle?" Moments later he replied "It's a #2 Square drive". Hummm, does he think I'm a moron? Let's try this again, but more directly this time: "Right, I get that, but why is it RED?" He replied "Because it's BADASS!" After having this set in my shop for the past few years I have to agree! Here's the "Badass" Wera set on Amazon: https://amzn.to/3z1dVer That said, as much as I like this set my favorite Wera tool is this one: https://amzn.to/3iXcKHq but hat's for another post. |
